Olivia

Hi, my name is Olivia, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to meet each of you here at Francis Parker.

My professional journey began with a focus on social work after graduation, specifically within the realm of child welfare.

However, my path took a transformative turn when I moved to Australia, where I immersed myself in learning English and experienced firsthand the profound expansion of my perspective. Through this experience,

I came to realize the immense impact language acquisition can have on broadening our horizons.

Motivated by a desire to share this experience with children, I returned to Korea and dedicated several years to teaching English.

Seeking to deepen my knowledge in the field of education, I pursued further studies in Early childhood education upon returning to Australia. Following that, I assumed a leadership role in a local kindergarten, dedicating seven years to teaching and nurturing young minds in Australia.

Upon the completion of my time at the kindergarten and the transition of my students to primary school,

I felt compelled to return to Korea to pursue my professional goal of equipping young learners with the linguistic skills necessary to navigate the world around them. My passion lies in creating nurturing and inclusive learning environments where children can genuinely enjoy the process of learning.

I am thrilled to be part of this great team at Francis Parker, and I eagerly anticipate our collaborative efforts in fostering a conducive learning environment for our children. Looking forward to our journey ahead together!

Thank you.

Jiny

Hello parents!

I am Jiny, and I am in charge of Uris class.

After living abroad for 12 years, I became a Korean↔English interpreter. Soon after, I acquired TESOL certification and taught young children. At the same time, drawing on 20 years of ballet training, I taught ballet and physical education both in Korea and abroad for a few years.

Teaching more than 500 children has taught me to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each student. With these experiences, I will ensure that every student remains engaged

and excels within the classroom.

Here at Francis Parker, I will make a meaningful contribution to the development of the next generation in our society.

Thank you.

Grace

Grace

Hello, my name is Grace, and I’m excited to join Francis Parker’s Seocho Campus as the bilingual homeroom teacher this March.

I grew up in the United States, where I developed strong communication skills and an appreciation for diverse cultures. After gaining corporate experience, I found my true passion in education and have spent the past five years teaching at an English kindergarten. I’ve taken on roles as homeroom and lead teacher, gaining experience in curriculum planning, parent communication, and event coordination.

At age seven, children make significant language progress, and my goal is to foster critical thinking and self-expression while supporting their language development. I’ll work closely with native English teachers to create an immersive environment where students can apply their skills meaningfully.

I believe in creating an engaging and supportive learning space that promotes both academic growth and emotional well-being. I look forward to partnering with parents to ensure each child’s success. Thank you.

Nicole

Hello, I am Nicole, an English instructor at Francis Parker, where I grow and learn alongside children every day.

With a degree in Early Childhood Education and a certified teaching license, I have spent many years guiding young learners. My greatest goal is to ensure that a child’s first encounter with English is not just about learning a language but about discovering a fun and meaningful way to communicate and express themselves.

I believe that language learning should build confidence, foster creativity, and encourage collaboration. That’s why I create a warm, safe, and engaging environment where children can naturally absorb English through songs, storytelling, games, and play. Every lesson is designed to spark curiosity and make learning an enjoyable adventure.

I look forward to supporting and inspiring our young learners every step of the way. Thank you!

Nina

Hello Parents!

My name is Nina, and I am delighted to be here at Francis Parker.

I spent my school years in New Zealand and later attended university there. With a deep passion for early childhood education, I obtained my teaching certification and worked as a kindergarten teacher in New Zealand. While teaching at a local kindergarten, I realized the importance of creating a secure environment where children can develop their creativity and learn independently.

This experience sparked my interest in diverse educational environments, leading me to return to Korea to continue my work in early childhood education. Since then, I have been supporting young learners in their growth and development, focusing on helping them naturally acquire English and express themselves confidently in bilingual settings.

Kindergarten is a crucial stage where children take their first steps into the world. I believe a teacher’s role is to encourage and support them so they can trust themselves and embrace new challenges. At Francis Parker, I will do my best to create a joyful and engaging learning environment where children can explore their potential and grow.

I look forward to getting to know each of your wonderful children and making this a memorable and enriching year for them.

Thank you!
